Technical Support Manager (Telecom)

Multinational Software company, focused on solutions for the Telecom industry, is looking for a Technical Support Manager for their Mexico operations. This position will provide enterprise level tech support via phone, web, email, and other channels as required to customers within Mexico and the US. Profile requirements include:

  • 5+ years of experience in Telecom, preferably working for a wireless carrier Tier1 supplier.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting in RAN and CORE domain with UMTS / LTE & 5G technologies and call flow.
  • Strong system admin knowledge of Linux OS.
  • Familiarity with scripting in languages such as Perl, Python, Bash, PowerShell, JSON, WMI. SQL and web technologies experience are also desirable.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Computing technologies such as VMware, vSphere, ESXI and Hypervisor.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related area is desired. Specializations in Telecommunications Technologies is a plus.
  • Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish).
